The Vassar Classroom Revisited: Science Edition
Please join President Hill, Vassar faculty and distinguished alumnae/i on Saturday, April 21st at Rockefeller University in New York City for a special science edition of The Vassar Classroom Revisited.
The day will commence in the morning with a reunion for science majors that includes a choice of lectures from distinguished members of the Vassar faculty in biology, chemistry, physics, math, and psychology. Afterwards, majors will adjourn for lunch.
In the afternoon, all alumnae/i and current parents are invited to attend a second set of lectures by faculty members and a panel discussion moderated by Jamshed Bharucha ’78, president of The Cooper Union. Tea with faculty will be served afterwards.
The day will also include volunteer workshops and a session for high school students interested in learning more about the study of science in a liberal arts context.
